Avocado

The Origins : Avocado

Avocado or Ahuacatl (meaning avocado), originates from South America. The Mayans were the first to domesticate this delicious fruit, thousands of years ago. Studies show that avocado was cultivated as early as 5000 BCE. Since then, Guacamole or the as the Aztecs called it, ” Ahuacamolli”, was a popular recipe.

Nowadays, we add Avocado to our salads and a variety of recipes, both savoury and sweet.
